The Air Training Corps provides the opportunity to take to the skies in light aircraft, gliders and more.   Whatever level you are as a cadet, you'll have the opportunity to try your hand at military skills and drills including shooting.   The squadron has an active Adventure Training programme of developing skills, day walks and weekend camps.

The squadron enrolls and supports cadets in the completion of the Duke of Edinburgh Award at all levels.   Fieldcraft Training allows cadets to develop their personal skills and knowledge in a wide range of activities which relate directly to working and living in a field environment.   Cadets have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of sporting activities at Sqn, Wing, Region & Corps level.

The Corps operates a programme of academic studies designed to increase aviation, RAF and technical knowledge.   Life saving skills such as Heartstart and Youth First Aid are taught at the squadron by qualified instructors.   Parades and public appearances are an important part of cadet life and increase the public profile of the Corps and the RAF.
